The only reason they are quieter is because of the materials used. So if you got some cash layin around go for it but what you got in there will do just a fine job, and if your realy a sereous gamer look into watercooling, it dose wonders, all this stuff if just for looks, and can strain the power brick. The LED puts pretty good pressure on the connectors which I hope is safe and won't cause any problems.
